NANB will host a virtual AGM via Zoom on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 9:30 am. This business meeting will highlight the 2020 Annual Report and Auditor's Report (2.5 hrs).

Registration is mandatory to attend. Deadline to register is Wednesday May 5, 2021.

If you haven't started your CCP, you should! Throughout the practice year, you should be completing the learning activities that you identified in your plan. By documenting the completion of each learning activity, you will be ahead of the game. As you implement your plan, other learning activities may be identified that assist in meeting your established learning goal(s). These learning activities can be recorded in your learning plan.

NANB was advised by the Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS) in March that professional liability fees for Registered Nurses will be increased by $20 +HST for the year 2022.

Telenursing practice improves access to care, but it also carries barriers to accessing, collecting, and interpreting information because the client is in a different location (NANB, 2020). This may impact the nurse’s ability to provide the required nursing care. Therefore, telenursing may not be appropriate in all situations.
