Professional Boundaries: Did You Know?



Nurses aren’t the only ones accountable for maintaining boundaries as all health care professionals share this responsibility. Crossing these lines can lead to serious consequences. We’re sharing a blog post from Rosen Sunshine about a recent case where a physician was found guilty of unprofessional misconduct for sexual impropriety with patients and mistreatment of employees: Professional Boundaries Matter.

Please consult the Standards for the Nurse-Client Relationship which provide clear guidance to nurses on maintaining boundaries.
