Meet Our New Program Director
Sharonda Williams, RN -Growing up in Colquitt County, as the daughter of a single mother, Sharonda Williams always understood the value of hard work, dedication, and commitment.
As a former Childcare Specialist, her hard work has certainly paid off in many spaces. She is currently using her vast medical skills to serve the geriatric population. Her ability to make her clients feel at ease , as well as her capabilities to think outside the box has earned her a stellar reputation amongst her peers.
When she’s not busy helping her clients, she enjoys volunteering, journaling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
As the Program Director for Teens Have Visions 2 Inc., Sharonda will provide leadership and support in program development, implementation, and community engagement while helping advance the organization's mission of uplifting, empowering, and encouraging teen girls and women at every stage of life.
Her compassion, expertise, and commitment to serving others make her an invaluable asset to Teens Have Visions 2 Inc. and the women we serve.
| | | COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: WHAT'S NEXT FOR HER? | |
NextHer is a new initiative of Teens Have Visions 2, Inc. created to support expectant and parenting teen mothers across South Georgia. In late July, Teens Have Visions 2 was awarded grant funding from ROSE (Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing breastfeeding disparities and advancing breastfeeding support and awareness.
Through this funding, NextHer aims to expand support for teen mothers across Colquitt, Brooks, Thomas, Mitchell, Tift, and Lowndes counties.
Becoming a mother can change the direction of a young woman’s life, but it doesn’t have to change the possibilities for her future. Through the NextHer Initiative, Teens Have Visions 2 is working to create a stronger circle of support for expectant and parenting teen mothers through mentorship, educational support, parenting and life-skills development, maternal wellness and breastfeeding awareness, and connections to community resources. Our purpose is to encourage young mothers to continue their education, establish personal and career goals, strengthen their parenting knowledge, and confidently prepare for what comes next for themselves and their children.
We are inviting our community to become part of HER next chapter. Schools, healthcare professionals, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and caring community members all have something valuable to contribute. You can help by referring a teen mom, sharing resources, volunteering your expertise, partnering with the initiative, or simply helping us spread the word.
Her baby matters. Her education matters. Her wellness matters. Her dreams matter. And HER future still matters.
Together, we can help her answer the question: “What’s NEXT for me?”

We are excited to welcome the 2026–2027 school year and officially launch Cohort 3 of the EmpowerHer Initiative this September!
EmpowerHer continues its mission of creating meaningful, engaging experiences that help young girls strengthen their confidence, set goals, develop life skills, explore their potential, and prepare for what's ahead.
As we enter our third cohort, we're not simply starting another year—we're continuing to build on the impact, relationships, and lessons of the cohorts that came before them.
This year will bring new activities, new experiences, opportunities for community involvement, and most importantly, a new group of girls ready to discover just how capable they are.
Cohort 3 is coming... and we're ready to EMPOWERHER!

Growing in Independence: Life Skills in Action | |
The Raising Her Project, an initiative of Teens Have Visions 2, Inc., recently had the opportunity to collaborate with LOL Life of Liberty Day Program to provide an interactive, hands-on workshop centered around independence, personal growth, and life skills development.
Pictured: Program Director Sharonda Williams alongside LOL Life of Liberty participants as they engage in SMART goal setting and create vision boards representing the life skills they would like to strengthen as they work toward greater independence. From money management and self-care to organization, communication, and everyday responsibilities, participants were encouraged to identify meaningful goals and visualize the steps needed to achieve them.
Through The Raising Her Project, we are proud to create inclusive spaces where women can be encouraged, equipped, and empowered to grow toward greater independence.
We're Raising HER to live, grow, serve, and thrive!

| Empowered & Ready for What’s Next | |
Teens Have Visions 2 had the opportunity to collaborate with the Brooks County ECHOES Jumpstart Summer Program, which equips students with the guidance, resources, and tools needed to jump into the next school year with success.
Over the course of two weeks, our teen girls participated in engaging workshops focused on hands-on CPR/First Aid awareness, leadership challenges, and personal development for success.
Participants were also introduced to one of our newest curriculum activities—“The Backpack Challenge!” This timed, hands-on challenge put their organization, time management, decision-making, and accountability skills to the test. Girls were given several tasks to complete while properly organizing their backpacks within a set amount of time, creating a fun and practical way to strengthen skills they can use throughout the school year and beyond.
Survey feedback showed that mentees especially enjoyed the hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences, which helped strengthen their understanding of the topics discussed.
At Teens Have Visions 2, our workshops are intentionally designed to ensure every participant walks away empowered, engaged, and equipped with a new skill for success.
