It is still about a million degrees outside (only a slight exaggeration), so it may be hard to believe that fall is almost here! We had a fantastic summer at FUMC with tons of exciting events, great studies, excellent worship, and time spent enjoying being together as a church family. We certainly made the most of these amazing weeks! As kiddos, teachers, administrators, and staff are getting ready to go back to school, FUMC is preparing to return to our regular fall schedule... with a few new things thrown in the mix! We will have several Bible studies and small group opportunities for everyone, both on Wednesday nights and on Sunday nights! We will have new activities for youth and children as well to help them grow in faithfulness and relationship to God and church.

It all starts at our big Fall Kick-Off event on Wednesday, September 4th at 5:00 PM on the North Lawn! We’ll have burgers from The Butcher Shop grilled by our Men’s Ministry, the Kona Ice snow-cone truck, inflatables for the kids, and plenty of time for you to hang out with your church family! We’ll also have opportunities for you to learn more about all our new studies and events and get signed up for whatever works for you and your family.

With so much going on, there is definitely something for you, your family, and even your friends! So be sure to join us on September 4th. Email me with any questions about studies or upcoming fall events at!

In Christ,

Pastor Becca
