Each year, at our Child Advocate Appreciation Luncheon, our CEO presents The Eagle Award. This award is given in recognition of an individual, company or group who has made a dramatic impact on the Center. We are thrilled to announce DFW Lexus Dealers as the recipient of this year's award.
One of the most highly anticipated moments of our annual Gala is the raffle drawing for a brand-new Lexus. This year's Gala, we will celebrate an exciting milestone - the
10th anniversary
of the Lexus Car Raffle. Each year, DFW Lexus Dealers donate a brand new car for the raffle, and we sell 2,500 tickets for $50 each, to raise a total of $125,000 annually. This long-standing partnership has raised
$1.1 Million
to support the Center and the children we serve.
Some of the Lexus Dealers have also gotten more deeply involved in supporting the Center. They collect toys for the Holiday Project, and participate in the Adopt-A-Family project. They also help us promote Teddy Bear Ride among their staff, and have participated in our Healing Hearts Golf Tournament.
