Wednesday Night Live wrapped up on May 11 with snow cones and some fun outdoor togetherness! Youth will kick off summer Wednesdays gatherings beginning on June 1. Each Monday in June & July you can check your email or our FUMC Longview Youth Facebook page to find out our Wednesday location. Our theme will be “Proverbs or Fortune Cookies? Seeking Wise Advice.”

Wednesday Night Live fun! WNL wrapped up for the spring semester last week, and we enjoyed pizza, Kona Ice snow cones, outdoor games, fun, and fellowship! A special thanks to all of the volunteers that have guided the children on Wednesdays...you are so appreciated! Our WNL Fall Kickoff will be August 31st.

Emilia Vada Reynolds was baptized on May 15 at the Ascension Service. She is the daughter of Sarah and Chris Reynolds and little sister of Ben Reynolds. She is pictured here being introduced to the congregation by Pastor Jay.

Summer is quickly approaching and that means…Vacation Bible School!!! VBS this year will be 3 evenings (June 22, 23, & 24) full of crafts, stories, games, snacks, music, missions, and fun! We will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm each night. Our theme is Spark Studios...Created in Christ, Designed for God's Purpose.

Of course, all of this needs a dedicated group of volunteers to make it happen. Volunteers will be rewarded with great memories and valuable friendships as they share their time and faith with children.
