TACOMA'S SUCCESS MAY SCOOT TO SEATTLE
As Seattle considers whether to start a pilot program with shareable electric scooters, Tacoma is ahead in the game. The city started its pilot project nine months ago and has seen a positive response from riders and Tacomans.



MULTICARE SERVING PARKLAND AREA
Multicare's new neighborhood outpatient emergency room opened Monday. It offers emergency care by board-certified ER physicians but has no inpatient (overnight) beds, according to MultiCare. The average wait time is expected to be about 15 minutes; average length of stay for patients is about 90 minutes.

CHAMBERS CREEK PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP - GOOD FOR TACOMA
The county executive entered into a long-term ground lease with Chambers Bay Resort, LLC, for the development of a hotel and resort on a portion of Chambers Creek Properties.
