A Journey by Any Name
Our journey of faith with Christ may be given many names.  Popular names today include "discipleship," "faith formation," "lifelong learning" and even "information for transformation."
Now that we have concluded the Journey Through the Bible, we recognize that our growth in faith never ends.  While Scripture hasn't changed, our times keep changing and certainly we keep changing.  We have so much more to explore in God's always unfolding story of love and salvation.  Join the conversation in the sanctuary after worship this Sunday as we discern the next steps of our congregational journey in Adult Christian Education.
We are constantly seeking to make our Sunday services warm and inviting.  Beginning Sunday, January 7 through February we are looking for 2 Individual volunteers  to serve as Greeters.
*Individuals (2 singles), a couple or a family,
Choir members can be Greeters too!
Contact: Jan Reinhart  ( 513.523.4339)
*Please indicate if you would like a postcard reminder.

Creating a Healthy Oxford Community

We are overflowing with gratitude at what our amazing God has done through the Oxford Presbyterian Church for local families in need.  Our congregation is blessed to be able to share Christ's love with the less fortunate in Oxford.  The Advent Food Drive that just concluded collected 330 pounds of food and $1450. Throughout 2017, a total of 1008 pounds of non perishable food was taken to the Oxford Choice Pantry and $5044 in monetary donations.  Thank you for your partnership in providing hunger relief in our community!

The Honored Woman Award
Each year the Oxford Presbyterian Women present the Honored Woman Award to a special woman who has dedicated her time and talent to the work of the church.  The selection is made through nominations from the congregation.  If you have seen or worked beside a woman who has faithfully served the Lord and His church, please send a letter of nomination to Pat Gifford, at gifforp@miamioh.edu , drop in my mailbox at church, or send to 6511 Morning Sun Rd., Oxford, 45056.  A new letter of nomination is needed each year, even if a woman has been nominated previously.  We are so grateful for the continued service of our Past Honored Women; however the award is only given once to an individual. Other members of the Honored Woman Committee are Johanna Reinhart and Carol Burkhalter who will also gladly accept letters of nomination.  The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2018.
