The Honored Woman Award 2019
Each year, Oxford Presbyterian Women present the Honored Woman Award to one or two women who have faithfully, willingly, and joyfully given their time and talents to the work of the church. We celebrate their many contributions to the mission, growth, and welfare of OPC and its vibrant congregation. Please consider thoughtfully any woman in our congregation whom you admire for their organizational skills, ability to lead or teach, willingness to participate regardless of task, and dedication to assisting those in need. Then write a letter of nomination detailing her work and send it to Jo Reinhart at , or mail it to 175 Stone Creek Drive, Oxford OH 45056. If you have questions, please contact Jo by email or call 513-523-4742.

A new letter of nomination is needed each year, even if a woman has been nominated previously. We owe a debt of gratitude for the continued service of our past Honored Women but can give the award only once to an individual.
The deadline for submissions is TODAY - March 1st

Lenten Food Drive
As is our annual tradition, the Deacon's Lenten Food Drive will stretch from Sunday, March 10th until Sunday April 14th. This year, our request will be a little different. As you may know, the Oxford Choice Pantry will be relocating their facility to Merry Day Park and rebranding as Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS); they have charged congregations around the community to meet or exceed our previous monetary donations in an effort to meet building and maintenance costs for their new facility.

Our church has been asked to contribute as much as $10,000 dollars for the new facility. In lieu of canned goods or boxed pasta, which we will still gladly accept, please consider donating money to this worthy and necessary effort. If you wish, donations can be placed in the plates during offering, with the note "Lenten Food Drive" on the memo line of each check or on the outside of the envelope if the donation is cash. Thank you for your past and future efforts to help those less fortunate have a brighter day and a brighter future.

Living Into Hope
From the perspective of the Bible,
hope is not simply a feeling or a mood or a rhetorical flourish.
Hope is the very dynamic of history.
Hope is the engine of change.
Hope is the energy to transformation.
Hope is the door from one reality to another…
Hope is believing in spite of the evidence and watching the evidence change.
