faith250 - Kick Off This Sunday!

Worship over the last several weeks took us on a journey through Genesis and Exodus - the foundational texts of our faith. Building on those shared roots, our Adult Christian Education ministry is excited to kick off faith250 this Sunday!

Our first gathering alongside Beth Israel Congregation and Payne Chapel AME will focus on the Declaration of Independence. As perhaps the most famous and foundational American text, it remains deeply meaningful and complex for many. Together, we will examine how America holds up to its own ideals and how those principles can inspire us toward faithful action today.

We gather together as neighbors across Butler County this Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Seminary Community Room. Please register at this link and invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join us for this incredible opportunity!

Fellowship Host

Hosting fellowship after church provides a valuable service to the congregation and is a great way to meet friends, old and new. Plus, it’s not a lot of work - you just need to pour drinks and greet people. Snacks are appreciated but not required. We have a need for hosts on Sunday, October 25. Also on Sundays, November 1, 8 and 22. Click the button on the right or use the sign-up sheet in the Molyneaux Room.

Together We Can...

Have you noticed the growing number of children coming to the front of the sanctuary during Time With Young Disciples during the worship service? Some children hold back with their parents-it can be a little intimidating for a new kid with all that kid energy up there. These kids, the bold and the meek, are our church's and Christ’s future. We want the best for them, from Sunday School to intergenerational experiences to Kirkmont Camp. The financial planning we do now helps build their part of the picture of our church for the future. Please think of them as you consider how you value our church this stewardship season.

Together we can

and we will!

Kroger Rewards Program

The deacons generously donate approximately $150 each month to TOPSS to help provide food and essential dry goods. A key source of funding for this ongoing support is the Kroger Community Rewards program. All funds earned through this program are used exclusively to purchase food and dry goods for TOPSS.

If you are not currently enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards program, we encourage you to consider signing up. Participation is simple and makes a meaningful difference.

Your Stewardship Matters

There cannot be a surer rule,

nor a stronger exhortation to the observance of it,

than when we are taught that all the endowments

which we possess are divine deposits entrusted to us

for the very purpose of being distributed

for the good of our neighbor.

- John Calvin
