Teacher Recognition / 2018 Jamieson Award
Please join us during worship service on Sunday, May 20, as we recognize our dedicated Sunday School volunteers and present the S. R. and Luna Weede 2018 Jamieson Award.

It was previously announced in the May newsletter and Sunday bulletin that Valerie Green is one of the three Jamieson award recipients. We have since learned that due to her Auburn Scholarship rules and regulations she may not receive any monetary awards. Therefore, we will still present Valerie with an award certificate and recognition of her church activities, but we will not give the $200.00 part of this award. The Green family is aware/appreciative of this change. And the Jamieson committee apologizes for any confusion this has caused.

Community Adult Day Service

Community Adult Day Service is open Monday through Friday from 8-5. They are located in the fellowship hall of the Faith Lutheran Church at 422 Tollgate Drive. They can care for 12 older adults with special needs and/or memory impairment a dayCommunity Adult Day Service strives to provide a positive experience for our older adults by exercising their body and minds throughout the day. They develop individual care plans so to meet the needs of each of our clients while there and to provide respite and support for the care givers. Their goals are to facilitate a level of independence in our clients, and to enable the clients to stay in their home for as long as possible.

The Community Adult Day Service is one of the local missions supported by OPC Mission and Outreach.  If members of the congregation would like to support the Community Adult Day Service make a check to Oxford Presbyterian Church and place Community Adult Day Service in the note field.
