While you are waiting to cast your vote in your local elections, the League of Women Voters of Texas is encouraging everyone to take the “Voting and Elections Scavenger Hunt” on the Texas Secretary of State website. The survey was created by the LWV-Texas to learn how Texans find information about voting and elections. Please note that i
t focuses only on how people learn about voting and elections, not on the politics of voting. It doesn't matter to the League who you will vote for.

The survey will take 10-20 minutes. Your assistance will help improve services for the voters of Texas.

The League of Women Voters-Hill Country is one of many charities that benefit from Belk’s semi-annual charity sales. This year's spring charity sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, from 7am to 9pm. This "first-time-ever" shop-all-day event is a fundraising tool for participating organizations that sell $5 tickets to their friends, family, and supporters. All ticket holders will receive $5 off their first purchase.

On the day of the Belk Charity Sale, 100 Belk gift cards valued anywhere from $5 to $1,500 will be given away. In addition, one lucky person per Belk Division (a total of two winners) will walk away with a gift card worth $1,500. No purchase necessary!
