Robin Roberts
Journalist and best-selling author Robin Roberts will address the audience during the Tuesday opening general session of The WICT Network's 2022 Leadership Conference. Roberts is the co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America, founder and president of Rock'n Robin Productions and a New York Times best-selling author.
In her latest book, Brighter by the Day: Waking Up to New Hopes and Dreams, Roberts offers a window into how she feeds her own mind, spirit, and soul, and invites readers to do the same. She explains that just like any skill, optimism requires practice and demonstrates how we can shift our mindsets to give ourselves permission to let our best intentions take root.
Robin Roberts is executive producing Harlem Hellfighters for the History Channel. This four-part documentary will profile the all-Black, World War I Military Infantry Unit through the eyes of bandleader James Europe and privates Henry Johnson and Horace Pippin. The Harlem Hellfighters fought the Germans with the French Army after U.S. troops refused to fight alongside them, eventually earning France’s highest military honor. Harlem Hellfighters, produced by Rock’n Robin Productions and RadicalMedia, follows on the heels of Roberts' 2021 History documentary, Tuskegee Airmen: Legacy of Courage.

EDS: Executive Leadership Presence
October 19-20, 2022 | Rancho Bernardo Inn | San Diego, CA
Executive Leadership Presence is designed to develop leadership presence as a means to inspire confidence, engage and influence others, and maintain productivity while increasing visibility and career mobility. This two-day program will introduce participants to a unique framework and toolkit of 12 specific attributes, skills and thought processes that work together to help them build knowledge and expertise.
Here's what past attendees said about their experiences at Executive Leadership Presence:
- Branding is something that's talked about all of the time from a product perspective. But rarely is the opportunity presented to talk about personal branding. I was looking forward to this content, and it over-delivered – loved every minute of it!
- Absolutely valuable information presented with passion and practiced with other women hungry to learn. Must-have training for aspiring women leaders.
- The Executive Leadership Presence seminar provides the missing links in career development and sheds light on the things that keep you from moving up in your career - all in a candid and safe environment.

EDS: Leading With Power and Authenticity
October 19-21, 2022 | Rancho Bernardo Inn | San Diego, CA
Leading with Power and Authenticity is designed to provide you with the tools to master competencies critical to sustainable performance. Create exponential impact by cultivating the authenticity and powerful connections that inspire trust and confidence from peers and high-performing teams. With an experiential learning environment, combining theory and practice, you will clarify your leadership vision and learn tactics for making it a reality.
Here's what past attendees took away from Leading with Power and Authenticity:
- I learned so much about myself and the inner strength it took to get me this far, and how I can harness that in my current position and beyond to be a better leader.
- EDS: LWPA was a safe space to explore my challenges, triumphs, failures, and insecurities with some truly amazing women. The feedback I received was so generous and I have a new set of tools - plus increased confidence to use them.
- LWPA was one of the best training experiences due to the amazing women that attended and the presenters' unique wisdom, insights and guidance. A must-do!
