2022 Resolutions
A new year, a new you. Many attempt resolutions at the beginning of the year. What did you learn in 2021?
Did you undertake an advantageous goal? Was it a bit overwhelming and maybe fell short? If you saw it through to now, congratulations! If you didn’t – that is okay too!
Is there something particular you want to accomplish in 2022? Let’s make a goal of sticking with our resolution this year!
GOALS YOU CAN ACHIEVE
Making a resolution doesn’t only have to be something drastic or losing great amounts of weight and building muscle. It can be something small that takes a few minutes a day, to improve your wellbeing.
Try practicing your new habit every day for three weeks. Even if it’s only a few minutes when you wake up, or before you go to bed, to help build a routine.
What area would you like to work on that you can realistically achieve, for the better?
Journaling 30 minutes a day may prove to be therapeutic. Writing can assist with creative blocks, or help release thoughts and feelings onto paper. It may also be a fun way to keep track of your goals throughout the year.
Walking daily can help keep your body active. From a variety of health benefits, to improving the quality of airflow, to distracting your mind from the routine of daily life. It can also be a great way to make new friends in your neighborhood, or a time out from your busy schedule.
*Please make sure to consult your physician before conducting any changes in physical activity.
A new Self-Care routine can be something you do purely for yourself, without distractions, and no regrets. Whether that’s making time to read a book every night. Starting a face-care regimen. Or saying positive affirmations to yourself every morning. A boost of positivity can help with the winter blues.
Educating yourself and learning a new skillset can be beneficial career wise. Not only does it help keep your mind sharp. It can help you improve your current career aspects, or transition into a new field.
HOW TO STAY ON TRACK
Having a Planner may help keep you on track by updating your progression. Keeping track of your accomplishments will help encourage you to stick with your resolution. Every time you update your progress, as it improves, your tiny successes make it harder to give up.
Create a Vision Board. You can create one via an app like Pinterest. Or create a physical board you keep in your home. When you view a vision board on a daily basis, it helps you stay focused on your aspirations and what you want to achieve, to make the dream a reality.
Get an Accountability Partner. If you don’t have one nearby, find one online! Meet like-minded people in an online forum, or via social media. Search for a group on Facebook and join a community. It’ll help you be successful in the long-run.
What path of growth will you be embarking on? Have a happy, successful and healthy 2022!
