Over two years in the making!
It began as a writing class back in May 2021. I was instructed by J.T. to help others write from their soul. The class was called "Soul Speaks," and three brave souls -- Vickie Hays, Carrie Hackwelder-Longo, and Kim Latta -- who had no idea what was in store for them, signed up. Well, none of us knew. I thought we were going to meet for a few weeks and then be done. At the end of the scheduled classes, we all knew we needed to continue to get together and write.
At the time, we didn't know we were writing a book. It was more about connecting with their "writing guides." Of course, it became very apparent that their writing guides were their loved ones on the other side.
Enter J.T., who had been bugging me to get the next book going. He always has a lot to say, and I love putting his words into print. The other "writing guides" joined the conversation, and before we knew it, we were writing a book.
Our co-authors on the other side were funny, though. The concept of the book originally was going to be about the wisdom each of them has now from the other side of the veil. As we continued writing, we discovered we were telling a very different story -- we were telling the story of personal transformation and rising from the fires of grief.
We all realized that through our grief experiences, we all had spiritually transformative experiences that changed our lives forever!
We found LOVE and PURPOSE. And we found each other.
