Rare Disease Day is February 28th
Rare Disease Day is the globally-coordinated movement to raise awareness of over 7,000 rare diseases that impact over 300 million people globally. Rare Disease Day is observed every year on 28 February (or 29 in leap years)—the rarest day of the year.  Submit your Rare Disease Day Dedication here: bit.ly/RDD2023.

The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is the official US partner for Rare Disease Day and works with EURORDIS (Rare Diseases – Europe) and others all around the world to drive an international campaign that shines a light on rare diseases like WM and advocates for health equity for all those living with a rare disease. Since its creation in 2008, Rare Disease Day has played a critical part in building an international rare disease community that is multi-disease, global, and diverse– but united in purpose. Visit the international Rare Disease Day site for additional information and resources at rarediseaseday.org.
