IWMF Wellness Program

Did you know that the IWMF offers a range of wellness classes tailored to meet the needs of individuals living with WM? As one of our regular participants said recently, “I'm positive that these classes are extending my life and the quality of it!”

Yoga Nidra on January 3rd at 2:00PM ET

Give yourself permission to rest while setting intentions for the New Year! This guided relaxation practice has been shown to decrease stress levels, improve sleep quality, elevate well-being, and increase the mindfulness of the participants. Sign up here to receive the Zoom invite before class. Check out our Vimeo library for free Yoga Nidra recordings.

New Class! Dance Therapy on January 14th

Join Lynn Falk, a Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, to engage in gentle movement, stretching, and dance. Experience your body in a positive way! We will warm up, find our groove, be a bit playful, and feel the joy of movement. No dance experience is necessary. Movement can be done from a seated or standing position, or both. Gather with others living with WM to find movement that feels good for you. Physical activity is the number one intervention for cancer-related fatigue! Sign up here to receive the Zoom invitation before class.

Let's Work Together to Accelerate the Cure!

Accelerate the Cure is our $31 million USD effort, over five years, to find a cure and support those with WM and their caregivers. Global researchers have a new set of WM research targets, and they are afire with excitement. We believe we can find that cure, and we hope 100% of our WM family will contribute.

IWMF has three Research Opportunity Funds: One for global research, one to accelerate clinical trials, and one that funds the next generation of researchers. A fourth fund ensures that IWMF continues to advance life-changing education and support programs while we push for that cure. Visit the Ways to Give page on our website to learn more about the Opportunity Funds and other ways to support this effort.

Waldenstrom's Weekly is a free service to WM community members to share WM related news and events. Click on "download photos" at the top to view all content. For more information, email info@IWMF.com or visit www.IWMF.com
