Vibrant Living - Purposeful Aging

WEEK OF JANUARY 5, 2026

New Year & New Cheer at the Wallace Center

As we welcome the New Year, the Wallace Center is buzzing with fresh energy, warm connections, and opportunities to learn and give back. January is a wonderful time to reflect, set intentions, and enjoy community—and we have a full calendar to start 2026 on a positive note.

This month kicks off with the return of the Grace Notes A Cappella Group, inviting members to come and listen to beautiful voices fill the center with songs. We’re also hosting two Coffee and Conversations, featuring important discussions on fall prevention with Dr. Phanumas from Family Centers and Greenwich Meals on Wheels, offering practical information and ways to stay nourished and connected. For our history and entertainment lovers, don’t miss the engaging lecture on Jackie Gleason, celebrating the life and legacy of the beloved comedian and performer.

The Center will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy, the Wallace Center is proud to participate in an MLK Day of Service alongside students from Greenwich Country Day School, bringing generations together in reflection and service.

Rounding out the month, we are pleased to present a special lecture and dinner sponsored by the Greenwich Physician Outreach Group, focusing on healthy blood pressure and heart health—an informative evening dedicated to well-being.

We look forward to sharing a meaningful and inspiring start to the New Year with you at the Wallace Center. Join us as we learn, connect, and move forward together.
