Warrior Fund Goal Accomplished
Lakehill is excited to extend our sincere appreciation to all the donors who helped us reach our $300,000 goal for the 2019-2020 Warrior Fund.

Thanks to the generous support of our families, alumni, grandparents, community members, and faculty and staff, in addition to an end-of-year gift from the Parent Faculty Club, we were able to raise these critical funds. The Warrior Fund is important to our students’ success, as it gives Lakehill the flexibility to provide a robust curriculum and fund critical needs. Every donation makes a difference in the lives of our students.

We also want to say thank you to James Perry, chair of this year’s inaugural Warrior Fund Ambassador Committee, as well as all of the Ambassadors. Their dedication and hard work enabled us to reach our goal. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Warrior Fund's success!
A Fond Farewell
Dear Lakehill Family,

Bob Dylan said, "You always got to be prepared, but you never know for what."

When I left my office more than 70 days ago, I never would have guessed that I would not return to the place that has been my work home-away-from-home for the past 12 years. For those who like facts and figures like I do, that’s two website makeovers, 259,000 photographs on SmugMug, and 427 issues of The Warrior Weekly.

This summer will mark the end of my serving as Lakehill’s Director of Marketing, and the beginning of a new adventure. While there is much about the future that remains uncertain, including what retirement will look like (for me) in this current environment, one thing, however, is certain: I feel privileged to have spent this part of my career at Lakehill.

It has been a joy to have worked with so many wonderful students, teachers, staff members, parents, and community members through the years. Lakehill is a place that is very much about the people, and that is what I will miss most. Your kindness and support will be treasured memories and I will always consider myself a part of the Lakehill family. I thank all of you who have added something special to my journey. Let the next adventure begin.

Gigi Ekstrom
A Note of Thanks
Every publication needs a good editor, and  The Warrior Weekly is fortunate to have a fantastic one. A special thanks to Elizabeth Schmitt , editor extraordinaire, for her continued help with each week's edition of The Warrior Weekly , and for her amazing way with words and uncanny ability to make everything sound better. It wouldn't happen without her, and our weekly editing sessions will be missed tremendously.

Special thanks to Lacie Kuhn, for her ideas, collaboration, and eagle-eye editing this year. Her assistance has been invaluable and much appreciated.
Important Tuition Notice
In mid-May, Lakehill families began receiving 2020-21 tuition invoices attached to an email from Intuit E-Commerce with the subject line “Invoice from Lakehill Preparatory School.” These invoices were sent to the first and second (if applicable) emails shown on your enrollment papers. If you did not receive an invoice by now, please check your Spam file and email if you need another copy sent.  As announced by Mr. Perry on Monday, the due date is now June 15, not June 1.

A link to pay by bank draft at no additional charge will be at the bottom of the email itself. You may, of course, send your payment through the regular mail. We can also accept credit card payments, however, those are subject to a fee of 3.5%, which is what our vendors charge us. If you wish to pay by credit card, please reply to the email with that request, and we will send you a new invoice with the fee included and credit card payment enabled.

Please contact the School’s Business Manager, Bruce McCoskey, at if you have any questions. Thank You!
