CME Needs Assessment Survey

WOMA’s annual CME needs assessment survey needs your participation to help us determine future topics, speakers and locations for Category 1-A CME programs.  Please take a few moments of your time to share your CME preferences in this brief survey below.

Suicide CME Programs

WOMA members receive a fee discount for the Washington State Psychiatric Association’s newest program, Training in Suicide Care for Physicians. Instructed by WSPA President Jeffrey Sung, M.D. this one-day, six-hour workshop fulfills the requirement for all physicians to receive a one-time training in suicide risk assessment, treatment, and management (ESHB 1424). This workshop uses lecture, video-based educational tools, and writing exercises to address approaches, formulation, and clinical responses to suicide risk.  This training is jointly-provided by the American Psychiatric Association and Washington State Psychiatric Association.

The programs will take place in Seattle in Seattle June 3, September 16 and November 11 and in Spokane on December 2
