Happy Friday to you! Thank you to all the parents that came out to the ODS parent meeting last night. We are looking forward to spending the week at Camp Tapawingo and are so excited to be partnering with Trackers. Also, we are putting the finishing touches on 4/5 week. I think they are going to have a great week as well!
Next week, we start a new PE unit at the Courts in Beaverton! It should be a fun time and get us some additional exercise. If you have a basketball you can lend us for the week, we would love to have extra! Next week also marks the final week of Term Two! I can't believe we are two-thirds of the way through the school year. Our staff will spend Friday of next week preparing report cards for Term Two and these will be emailed home the week of March 9th.
Compassion thought of the week: One of our sixth-grade students explained compassion through an experience, “Once I saw that a friend, even though he was already in a group, joined my group because I had no people in my group.” It is heartwarming to watch our students be compassionate toward each other. This shows how something that seems so small can leave a lasting impact. I wish everybody a great weekend. We will see you on Monday.
