The
Wave
November 8, 2019
Happy Friday to all of you! It has been a fast-paced week here at TRCS. We are two weeks away from the end of Term One and I can’t believe how fast the year is going! This week, our students have been working hard in the classroom, participating in community service, and enjoying the amazing fall weather during lunch and recess.

We are getting close to entering a very busy season with lots of activities. Please make sure you are taking the time to read through the entire Wave so you do not miss anything over the next two months. We are looking forward to Friendsgiving next Thursday. It is always great getting this community together for a fun night!

Thank you to voters and the West Linn-Wilsonville School District for helping pass the local bond levy. This is an additional revenue source for TRCS and helps our budget in a variety of ways.

Compassion thought of the week: I hope everybody takes a moment to thank a veteran this weekend. As we celebrate these amazing men and women who have served our country, may we never forget the work and sacrifice they have given for us to live in freedom. Charles Rangel once said, “Honoring the sacrifices many have made for our country in the name of freedom and democracy is the very foundation of Veterans Day. Enjoy the long weekend and remember to celebrate our veterans. Have a great weekend, be safe and we will see everybody on Tuesday.
