How Worship Changes Lives - Fuller Seminary Lecture
Thursday, November 8th, 7pm Cafe
How does worship impact and change us? How do our songs and sermons, prayers, and praises all come together to actually help us learn, grow, and develop as disciples? Dr. Alexis Abernethy is a clinical psychologist and professor at Fuller Theological Seminary who has spent years studying the worshiping lives of diverse congregations. Her research focuses on how our worship practices facilitate spiritual transformation and growth. We invite you to join leaders from around the Houston area as she shares the results of her research and invites us into a larger conversation about how we can design and lead worshiping communities toward deeper spiritual growth and development. No registration necessary.
