We have two more Sundays for our series on "Invitations"! We hope you are enjoying hearing the different voices and perspectives on God's invitations to us. This Sunday is Communion Sunday - so as usual, elementary and youth will join us in big church.

This Sunday also will be your last chance to sign up for the Men's Camp Out at Brazos Bend State Park. You'll find the table in the auditorium lobby or you can click here.

Thank you to everyone who participated in National Night Out either by hosting a gathering on your driveway or participating in your area civic club gathering. We had 25 households sign up to host all over the city. Way to go Houston Vineyard Church! If you have pictures to share, please email to  Donna.

Parents, this is a reminder that beginning October 14th, there will be new drop off and pick up times in the elementary department. Drop offs are 9:45-10:15am and 11:15-11:45am. Pick ups are 11:15-11:45 and 12:45-1pm. Please contact Jill Lively with any questions or comments.

Hope to see you on Sunday!

Teresa Crain ("T")
Our friend and staff member, Teresa Crain, has been ill since August 8th. It looks like Teresa's illness, which is heart related, will be ongoing for a while. We would like to create a team of people who would be available to assist Teresa in getting to doctor's appointments, doing grocery store runs, or dropping by occasionally to encourage her. We have applied for transportation through METRO Lift, which will be very helpful, but it could be another month before that approval goes through. If you would like to be part of this team, please contact  Donna.
