Tonight is the Fuller Seminary event at our church starting at 7pm in the auditorium. This is a free and open event, with Dr. Alexis Abernathy sharing her research on how worship changes lives. We hope you will join us.

This Sunday, we continue with our new series entitled "PERMISSIONS." Elementary children will once again be in the Norhill Room on the 2nd floor. We are so anxious to be back in our own building, but are so grateful to have a good and safe substitute until the City of Houston allows us back in.

For those of you that were around when we were CHURCH IN THE CITY, we received word that our dear friend, Anita Rogers, passed away Tuesday night. See the Family News section for details on tomorrow's service.

Lots going on this weekend, so check it out below. We hope to see you Sunday!

Education, Events, and Ministries!
How Worship Changes Lives - Fuller Seminary Lecture
TONIGHT, November 8th, 7pm Cafe
How does worship impact and change us? How do our songs and sermons, prayers, and praises all come together to actually help us learn, grow, and develop as disciples? Dr. Alexis Abernethy is a clinical psychologist and professor at Fuller Theological Seminary who has spent years studying the worshiping lives of diverse congregations. Her research focuses on how our worship practices facilitate spiritual transformation and growth. We invite you to join leaders from around the Houston area as she shares the results of her research and invites us into a larger conversation about how we can design and lead worshiping communities toward deeper spiritual growth and development. No registration necessary.
