From Melanie Petersen:
We are looking for a paid care and mentoring attendant to work part-time, flexible hours with our 28 year old son who lives in our home. Hours may range from 5-10 hours per week, primarily on weekends. Duties include overseeing medication, meals, socialization and small outings. Our need is immediate. The rate of pay is $16 - $19.50/hour. Background check will be provided. Please inquire about details with David (713-203-2706) or Melanie
In addition to the above need, David and I are asking people to pray regularly for our family. David and I are struggling with health issues and have no rest in our home.
David has been dealing with a chronic illness, and he takes the lion's share of care  with Andrew. The last few weeks my blood pressure has been spiking.

What we need is a home for Andrew, yet he does not fit anything that we know about, within the framework of social services.  So we daily cry out to the Lord for him to open more doors of help.
If anyone knows of someone that might help us broaden our thoughts on this topic, searches and/or offer direction for long term care, we would welcome that help.
We are so grateful to those who pray for us.  Thank you for your support.

Kaylen Simpson is doing well in her new hospital, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in the Cypress area. She continues to make remarkable progress! She is now speaking, eating, standing with help, and she is breathing on her own.
If you'd like to help with medical bills and Kaylen's living expenses until she is back, you can go here to give. We are also providing meals for the family on Sunday and Thursday. To make a meal for the family, click here.

Thank you so much church!
