If you do miss your chance, don’t despair. We will have a table of unsold craft items for purchase at the Plant Sale on Saturday, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
May Food Drive to Benefit A Place to Turn
Drop Off Wednesdays, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Summer will soon be here. As crazy as this past school year has been, children will be home during the day now, and free lunches will be at a minimum. It is time for us to help stock the shelves at A Place To Turn. All foods are welcome. But think about what children may be able to fix for themselves; juice boxes, peanut butter, granola and cereal bars.

Food can be left in the Parish Hall vestibule every Wednesday, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

If you have any questions, email or call Debbie Nichols.
Thank you to all the volunteers rotating off councils and committees after this week's Annual Meeting! A special word of thanks to outgoing Moderator, Rebecca Reiner (left) and to outgoing Assistant Treasurer, Mary Whittemore (right).
Racial Justice Ministry Book Study
Wednesday Evenings, through May 19
The Plymouth Church Racial Justice Ministry Team is sponsoring a book study using, So You Want to Talk About Race, by Ijeoma Oluo. The discussion is conducted via Zoom on Wednesdays, at 7:00 p.m., and will end on May 19. Sessions last 90 minutes.

Reviewer Jenny Bhatt writes “…this book is for everyone — white or black or any color in between. If you are white, it will make you see nuances of racism that you were probably not aware of, including within yourself, your loved ones, and coworkers. If you are a person of color, it will give you ways to respond calmly, rationally, and intelligently, even when dealing with the well-meaning “I’m not racist” white friend or coworker.”

If you have taken part in other racial justice book discussions or if this is a new topic for you, all are welcome. Participants should pick up their own copy, which is readily available in stores, at public libraries, or for purchase online. To register, send an e-mail to Rev. Morisse ([email protected]) or Rob Schadt ([email protected]).

Having Difficulty Securing an Appointment for COVID vaccinations?
Seeing a need in the community, the MetroWest Pharmacy and the Framingham Coronavirus Community Outreach Group partnered together to make a community-based COVID vaccine and hotline call center available for Framingham residents. Read more about this initiative at Framingham Source.
COVID Precautions
Due to rising Covid-19 cases, we are suspending nonessential visits to the church. Just for the time being, we are asking members not to come to church unless it is absolutely necessary. We are not closing the church. But we are asking that everyone give extra thought before stopping by.

Is it essential that this visit be in person?
Is there a way this can be done virtually?

While it may be no big deal for you to stop by casually, please remember that staff are here more regularly. The more people who visit, the higher the exposure risk.

If you must visit the church, please use the accessible Office entrance, by the Bell Garden, unless you have worked it out with your group. We ask that everyone please sign the log, letting us know that you were here and for how long.

This pandemic is made longer and more deadly when we do not adhere to the very simple, very doable tasks — masks, social distance, testing, and contact tracing.

This applies to the extremely cautious and to those of us who feel healthy.
