Y's Man Ken Bernhard Discussed Second Amendment | |
|
Ken Bernhard addressed the Y's Men last Thursday in a talk entitled "The Second Amendment: How 240 years of settled law became today’s controversy."
Y's Man Ken Bernhard talked about the Second Amendment to the U. S. Constitution at last Thursday's regular morning meeting. The Amendment, which protects the right to bear arms and keep a militia, was ratified on December 15, 1791.
Ken thinks the Supreme Court’s current Second Amendment interpretation is different from what was originally intended. He said the judges mistake is to quote the “losers” in the original debate.
Because of technical difficulties, a video of Ken's presentation is unavailable. Notes on his presentation will be announced as soon as they are ready.
