The Week Ahead, Next, and More.
10- 21- 19
I hope this email finds you well after what was, hopefully, a nice weekend, as we head into Tuesday with the possibility of rain .

Before we look prospectively, if you missed it on Friday , please check out the letter we sent to the Department of City Planning regarding the pending Gowanus rezoning. Big thanks to our friends at the Gowanus Alliance for sharing, and complementing, the letter.

While on the subject of a rezoning, there is one of the educational variety being discussed tomorrow as CEC15 will be meeting at P.S 15.

As I’ve mentioned, 2 of our committees will be meeting this week. On Wednesday, our   Youth, Human Services, and Education Committee   will meet at the   Red Hook Library  to hear plans for the library's redesign, as well as a presentation from the   NYC 2020 Census Complete Count . On Thursday, October 24 th our   Landmarks/ Land Use Committee meets  to review 1 landmark application. Looking briefly to next week, one week from today, on Monday, October 28 th , our Permits and Licenses Committee will be reviewing 5 Liquor License applications and, due to the extensive agenda, the meeting will start at 6:00 pm.

Just like today, alternate side parking (ASP) will be suspended, and , like every other day, there will be planned service changes on subways and buses .

That's all I've got for today, but I hope you have a good evening and feel free to share  this information  any way you'd like.
