Welcome to the Week of August 30, 2020
We recognize that Friday's announcement left many feeling frustrated and disappointed. We continue to work tirelessly in bringing our students back as quickly and as safely as possible. Circumstances outside of our control have led to a delay, and we are committed to bringing students back into the building on September 21. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A Closer Look
Safe Return Town Hall
Join us over Facebook Live on Thursday, September 3 beginning at 11:30am to discuss our plans for our scholars' safe return, precautions we will be taking, and health protocols we will be implementing. You do not need a Facebook account to participate.

Lower School Yearbook Update
As you may know, there has been a delay in receiving our 2019-2020 Lower School yearbooks. Please know that they are indeed processing and that we will let you know as soon as they are available to bee picked up.

Meals for Distance Learners
Throughout Distance Learning, families who place an order will be able to pick up one prepackaged meal box containing 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches per student per week. Visit greatheartsirving.org/breakfastandlunch for more details.

On the Horizon
Sowing the Seeds of Wonder
On Labor Day Monday, September 7, your family is invited to join our "Master of Dirt" Paula Ferguson on campus in rejuvenating our grade level garden beds.

Curriculum Night
On Wednesday, September 9, we will host our annual Curriculum Night. Ordinarily, we would invite parents to campus for this event, but since that is not possible, your child's teacher will record a video outlining the curriculum your child will experience this year and post it to Google Classroom.
