Welcome to the Week of October 18, 2020
Fall brings cooler weather, spectacular displays of foliage, and harvest celebrations. Robert Frost wrote a poem for this time of year called "Nothing Gold Can Stay":
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay
Enjoy the beauty of fall as all too soon it shall be winter. As the first quarter of school finishes and we look ahead to Quarter 2, we wish all families a wonderful Fall Break.

A Closer Look
Fall Break
There will be no school from October 19 through 23. Please enjoy a week of well-earned rest and relaxation, and remember to stay safe so that we can all come back to school happy and healthy on Monday, October 26.
On the Horizon
Storybook Festival
Our second annual Storybook Festival is Friday, October 30th. Please consider donating a work of classical children's literature from our Amazon Wish List to help us grow our school library.

Picture Day is Coming!
Thursday, November 5th is our Lower School picture day for in-person scholars. Please come dressed in your regular uniform.

Lifetouch will be offering a special off-site picture day for Distance Learners. Dates and details for that event are being finalized and will be communicated as soon as possible.
Cricket Classic
We are looking forward eagerly to our second annual Faculty vs. Parents Cricket Classic on Saturday, November 14. Cricket is a fascinating sport, and all are invited to come and watch the friendly competition. Space on the parent team is limited, so let us know right away if you have an interest.
