Welcome to the Week of January 31, 2021!
It has been said, "Keep your face always towards the sunshine, and the shadows will fall behind you." As we bid January farewell and usher in February, we can look ahead to the return of more of our beloved students to in-person learning and to the springtime months. Our students are exposed to nature throughout their studies in science and are encouraged to observe details, glory in the beauty of the world surrounding them, and experience firsthand that which they are continuing to learn.

Looking ahead is also a wonderful opportunity for our community of exceptional volunteers to consider joining our team of PSO officers. Please reach out to PSO@greatheartsirving.org if you have an interest in serving our school in this way.

A Closer Look
Health Screenings
Parents of distance learners in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th grades, and all students new to Great Hearts Irving should sign up for a time to visit the campus for State-mandated health screenings.

Senior Trip Fundraising
The Senior Trip is a long-standing tradition at Great Hearts schools. This year, our Seniors will take a 5-day sojourn to the Texas Hill Country. To fundraise for this journey our Seniors are selling flowers from a local nursery. Please consider buying a few flats of flowers to both cultivate your garden and support our first graduating class!
