We had a wonderful week back on campus. Thank you to our students, faculty, and families for adapting so quickly to new measures, in particular, our new staggered schedule. It is truly wonderful to be a part of this generous community.

MAPS Testing

This week we will continue to have MAP testing for 6th to 9th grade students. Please click on the link for scheduling, technical information for distance learners and general information about the importance of the exams.
Holiday Cookie Extravaganza

Tis the season to treat our teachers to the best of your holiday kitchen for our 6th Annual Holiday Cookie Extravaganza! Every year, GHI families delight our faculty with their favorite holiday goodies the week before winter break (December 14th-18th). Please join us again this year as we celebrate their hard work, dedication, and love for our students and school. Upper School Snowflake Fund

In lieu of individual holiday gifts to our upper school teachers, the Great Hearts Irving PSO invites families to contribute money instead. This money will go directly to the teachers in the form of a holiday cash gift! Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, December 16th. For more information, click below!

National Latin Exam Awards

Awards for last spring’s 2020 Nation Latin Exam were distributed to on-campus students in their language classes last week. If your child received an award for this exam and is distance learning, we invite you to come to campus to pick up his/her exam from the front desk. Email Ms. Mueller (mariel.mueller@greatheartsirving.org) with questions.
Open Enrollment Nov. 9 - Dec. 11

Open Enrollment is for your family if:
1. Your current Great Hearts student has a sibling whom you want to attend Great Hearts next school year.
2. You would like your currently enrolled Great Hearts student(s) to attend a different Great Hearts academy next school year. Click here for transfer eligibility requirements and process.
Mustang Athletics

Your Great Hearts Administration Team has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's basketball season in the effort to maintain the health and well-being of our entire school community.
