Welcome to the Week of January 10, 2021!
Quarter 2/Semester 1 comes to a close on January 15. January 19th is devoted to conferences with teachers via Zoom. Evaluations will come home to families on January 22. As we move into Quarter 3, we will resume Art in the Art classrooms. All students will wear masks throughout Art class and materials will be changed out between class periods. We will also return to our Music classrooms and only go outdoors for the vocal part of Music class. Students will remain in their cohort groups while attending all Specials; hand sanitizing and our regular regimen of cleaning will continue, along with all our existing safety protocols.

A Closer Look
Zoom Conferences
This year, parent conferences will be held over Zoom on Tuesday, January 19th to keep everyone as safe as possible. If you haven't yet signed up, many classrooms still have slots available.

Apply for the '21-'22 School Year
It's not too late to apply! Even though Open Enrollment for the upcoming school year has ended, we are still taking applications. There is no way to know how many seats will become available in a grade level, so it's always worthwhile to go ahead and submit an application.

Community Partners
We are working to build relationships with local businesses that are connected to our school community. If you own your own business, or know of one that might be interested, please reach out to Keo.Strull@greatheartsirving.org.
