"A Chorus of Generosity"

2026 First Presbyterian Church Stewardship Campaign

This past Sunday in worship, our FPC Director of Music Dr. Damion Womack spoke to this year’s Stewardship Campaign theme, inviting us to join the “Chorus of Generosity.”

Between now and November 2, Dedication Sunday, members and friends of FPC are asked to make your pledge to our 2026 Operating Budget. 

We have an ambitious goal this year of increasing our budget by 12%.

In addition to ministries that are highly visible in the life of our church (youth group, local outreach efforts, and music ministries), in 2026, we anticipate significant increases in our church insurance premiums, the cost of medical insurance for our full-time staff, and costs associated with maintaining the basic infrastructure of our facility.

Please make your 2026 pledge today!

You may either pledge online at www.fpcauburn.org/pledge or by sending a paper pledge form into the church office. Pledges received by November 2 will be eligible to have their names placed in a drawing for Prompt Pledge Prizes, including a reserved parking space on Sundays or the chance to chose your favorite hymn for worship twice a year!

As we each take our place in the “Chorus of Generosity,” below you will find a 30 Day Generosity Challenge calendar, reminding us of God's call to be generous every day - no act is too small to join the chorus!

Save the date for a church workday on Saturday, November 8, from 8am-12pm. Come share your time and gifts as we do some fall cleaning around the church. If it is raining on November 8 then we will make rain plans and have the workday on Saturday, November 15.

FPC Women's Retreat 2026 - Register by November 15!

The First Presbyterian Church Women’s Retreat is set for January 16–18 at our beautiful Presbytery Camp, Living River in Montevallo, AL. 

This special weekend is designed for busy women who need a break to reconnect with God, nature, and one another. Come enjoy peaceful hikes, cozy campfires, meaningful Bible study, and uplifting fellowship.

Children Pre-K through 5th grade

• 3rd through 5th Grade Parents! Being an acolyte is a great way for your child to be a part of worship leadership! Click this link and sign up today!!!

• Godly Play: After the Word to Grow By, children Pre-K through 2nd grade will head down to the Godly Play room for worship and fun!

Senior and Junior High Youth

• Auburn Game Day Parking Sign-up: Jr/Sr High Parents, if your child plans to attend any of the summer retreats or conferences next year, please click this link and sign up to help with game day parking. This fundraiser drastically reduces the cost of these trips. Thanks so much for volunteering!

• Prayers of healing for Carolyn Crandell as she recovers at home after successful surgery on her broken leg. Prayers for George as he cares for her. 
• Prayers of healing for Margaret Craig-Schmidt’s brother Bill as he receives treatment and recovers from successful surgery for bile duct cancer at M.D. Anderson. Prayers for Margaret and Steve as they care for Bill from afar. 
• Prayers of healing for Leslie Chamber’s grandmother, Imogene Hill, has she recovers from hip replacement surgery. Prayers for Leslie and all her family as they care for Imogene.
• Prayers of healing for Addy Steele’s mother, Emily McDaniel, as she recovers from significant surgery. Prayers for Addy and her family as they care for her mother.  
• Prayers of healing for Amanda Covington Anderson as she continues to heal and responds well to her cancer treatments. Prayers for Frank and Carole and all of Amanda’s family as they care for her.

• Prayers of healing for Karen and Bob Cochran’s friend Randy Tucker as he undergoes a stem cell study for his cancer treatment.
• Prayers of healing for Anne Leader’s friend Janice Philpot as she continues chemotherapy after a recent cancer diagnosis. 
• Prayers of healing for Don Ball’s son Kelly Ball, who is undergoing immunotherapy treatment for recurrence of cancer.
• Prayers for former Ukirk student Shannon Smith as she recovers at home after having a stroke.
• Continued prayers of healing for Chris Greer. We especially pray for good healing and rest as Chris recovers from successful treatments. We continue to rejoice with Chris because the latest scans show no sign of cancer. We are so grateful the chemotherapy treatments have been successful.
• Prayers for Brooke Myers as she cares for her father Charlie Myers. Charlie is recovering from a fall and has moved to Morningside.
