Children and Youth News

Children Pre-K through 5th grade

• Sunday School:   ***Please note, Sunday school for children and youth will take a break for the summer beginning June 7. Sunday school will resume on Rally Day August 9.***
• Godly Play: After the Word to Grow By, children Pre-K through 2nd grade will head down to the Godly Play room for worship and fun! 
• Worship bags are available for all children during worship.

Senior and Junior High Youth

• Jr/Sr High Youth: We'll be taking a break until Fall.
• Sunday School:    ***Please note, Sunday school for children and youth will take a break for the summer beginning June 7. Sunday school will resume on Rally Day August 9.***

Prayer Concerns & Celebrations

• Please continue to pray for many members of our church who are recovering from successful surgery, dealing with significant health issues, surrounded by grief and difficult circumstances but at this time do not wish to be mentioned by name. Prayers of healing, wholeness, and comfort for many in our congregation.
• Prayers of healing for Mike Williams as he navigates health issues. Mike is currently receiving care at EAMC. 
• Continued prayers of healing for Denise and Steve Salo’s daughter Katie Callahan as she recovers from successful surgery. 
• Prayers of healing and rest for Margaret Craig Schmidt as she navigates health issues. Prayers for Steve as he cares for her.
• Prayers for Catherine and Noah Riley who are beginning the IVF process in the next few weeks with multiple doctors visits.
• Prayers of healing for Kristina Michel as she recovers from an accident. 
• Prayers of healing for Elizabeth Garrett as she receives chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. Prayers for Joe and her family and friends as they care for her.
• Prayers of healing for Mary Simon as she recovers from successful leg surgery and receives rehab treatment. 
• Prayers of healing for Mari Ley as continues to navigate health issues after a fall at home. Prayers for Terry and all who are caring for her. 
• Prayers of continued healing for Bobbie Thurlow as she recovers at home from successful hip surgery. Prayers for all of those caring for her, especially her family. 
• Continued prayers of healing and comfort for Carole Covington as she navigates health issues. Prayers for Rev. Dr. Frank Covington as he cares for her. 
• Prayers of healing for Donna Yeager’s mother, Patsy Yeager, as she receives care at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX after a fall at home. Prayers for Donna as she cares for her mother in Texas.
• Prayers of healing for Margaret Lee (friend of Joel and Becky Buchanan) as she recovers from surgeries that are part of her treatment for breast cancer.
• Prayers of healing for Karen Delano’s daughter Hillary and son-in-law Reece. Hillary is recovering from minor back surgery. Reece is recovering after having a life threatening bacteria infection that led to amputating part of his left leg. Prayers for Karen as she cares for her family.
• Prayers of healing for Hunter Anderson (Andy Anderson’s brother) as he recovers from a serious accident. Prayers for Andy and Marty Anderson as they care for Hunter.
• Prayers of healing for Margaret Craig-Schmidt’s brother Bill as he receives treatment and recovers from successful surgery for bile duct cancer at M.D. Anderson. Prayers for Margaret and Steve as they care for Bill from a far. 
• Prayers of healing and care for JC Stroud (neighbor of Kim Holman) as navigates health issues.
• Prayers of healing for Leslie Chamber’s grandmother, Imogene Hill, has she recovers from hip replacement surgery. Prayers for Leslie and all her family as they care for Imogene.
• Continued prayers of healing, rest, and comfort for Donna Yeager’s mother, Patsy Yeager, as she navigates health issues at home. Prayers for Donna and her siblings as they care for her mother in Texas.
• Prayers healing and comfort for Sarah Wolak’s brother Chris French. Chris has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome and is receiving treatment for his symptoms. Continued prayers of healing and comfort for Sarah’s mother Susan French as she also navigates health issues.  
• Prayers of healing for Don Ball’s son Kelly Ball, who is undergoing immunotherapy treatment for recurrence of cancer.
