Join the effort to stop hunger around the world! This Sunday is the Souper Bowl of Caring food drive. Our youth will be collecting monetary donations for the East Alabama Food Bank as well as non-perishable food donations for the Blessing Box. Just look for our youth holding soup pots after both worship services to make a donation.

Our next Second Saturday at the Community Market is almost here! Join us on February 8th from 9am-12pm (for all or part of this shift) to stock, clean, assist clients - whatever needs doing!

Members and friends of all ages are welcome to sign up here.

Usher Volunteers Needed!

Are you interested in helping as Head Usher, Usher, or even with Collections during our 11:00 a.m. Sunday Service? The Worship Committee has set up a sign-up genius to help. As we move into the busy Spring season and on to the Summer, we need your help coordinating the work so we have an opportunity to ensure everything runs smoothly and all can enjoy our worship service. If you would be interested in serving on this committee, please let me know.

To make the process easier, we've created a SignUpGenius  where you can select the dates and times that work best for you. Please take a moment to sign up and be a part of this rewarding experience. The Usher Coordinator, Quincy Hochard, will be available to make sure everyone is comfortable with their volunteer roles.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to serve!

Sanctuary Flower Sign-up

It's time to sign-up for sponsoring flowers for our Sanctuary in 2025! The sign-up sheet is located outside of the receptionist’s office in the main church office building.

If you are unable to sign up in person, you may also contact Sarah Wolak at 334-728-7853 to sign up for a date. You are welcome to split the cost with another family-- just be sure to write both names on the line. The cost of the flowers is $50 per arrangement, not including tax and delivery fee. As before, you are welcome to bring the arrangements home after the service, or to leave them to be delivered to other members of the congregation.

Lay Readers Needed in the New Year

FPC Members and Friends of all ages are welcome to help lead worship. Use this link to sign up for a Sunday 11am service. The pastor preaching will contact you the week of and will send the Scripture and prayers for that Sunday.

Help Feed Our College Students!

Sign up here to provide a meal for our college students during the 2025 spring semester. You may join together with friends to cook something for the students, drop off a meal you've prepared ahead of time, or simply donate money to cover the costs of a Sunday evening meal.

Our students are always grateful for the hospitality they receive at the table from their FPC family. Thank you for supporting campus ministry!
