Session Notes
During its meeting on April 27, the Session…
• learned that the church’s income for March was $129,556; expenses, $84,688; and net income, $44,868; year-to-date income was $209,112; expenses, $222,986; and net income, minus $13,873;
• approved Larry and Luann McQueen’s request for a letter of transfer of membership to First Presbyterian Church, Tuscaloosa, Alabama;
• approved use of resources in the Facility Improvement Fund and the Finance Emergency Fund to finance the improvement of our Thach Avenue entrance;
• approved Brittany Branyon’s request to use Conway Hall on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 2:00 p.m., for a Village Friends program;
• learned that Brian Bourne is helping navigate the Gay Street Project, which includes a new drainage system on the east side of the church and a new sewer line from the church to the city’s sewer line; and
• learned that Kathy Reed had led a women’s retreat for the Presbytery of St. Andrews at Camp Hopewell on April 4 and 5.
