The Easter Prayer Vigil is a significant event in the life of First Presbyterian when each participant devotes at least one hour to focused prayer for the concerns, needs and thanksgivings of our community and the world at large. The goal of the vigil is to have at least one person offering up prayers in the Chapel beginning immediately after the Good Friday service on April 18 and continually until sunrise Easter morning.

Please consider committing one hour of your time to participate in this prayer vigil. A variety of materials will be available to help guide your prayer hour. Signup sheets are available in the Chapel and Narthex before and after each worship service. An on-line signup option is also available at this link. Groups and families are encouraged to signup together as well. Security is provided during the nighttime hours.

If you are unable to be present in the Chapel, you are encouraged to join the prayer vigil throughout the weekend anywhere - anytime. Additionally, we ask that you submit prayer request cards to communicate your concerns or celebrations which will be shared with God by the participants throughout the prayer vigil. Prayer request cards can be placed in the Sunday offering plate or in appropriately marked boxes around the church campus.

For more information or help with signing up, contact Shane Klugh at 334-707-0626 or bsklugh@gmail.com

A dedicated time in our church year for prayer, fasting, and service, the season of Lent offers us an opportunity to ponder the things keeping us from being in relationship to God & neighbor and faithfully seek to overcome these obstacles.

A special Sunday School series (March 9 - April 13) will help us reflect on how God has, is, and will be with us throughout 175 of First Presbyterian Church of Auburn's history.

This year's devotional resource is available for digital download here. Paper copies will also be available in the sanctuary narthex and chapel vestibule.

Easter Lilies

If you would like to order a lily to be placed in our sanctuary on Easter Sunday, you may fill out a paper form (also available in the narthex) or complete this Google form by Monday, April 7. Checks may be mailed to the church office or placed in the collection plate on Sundays (please do NOT include on same check as pledge payments - thank you!). If a plant is given in your honor (or in memory of a family member), please take it home after the 11:00 a.m. Easter service.

Saturday, April 12 all ages are welcome to come volunteer at the Community Market! Stay for all or part of the 9am-12pm shift and help stock, clean, assist clients, etc. It's always a fun time!
