Session Notes
During its meeting on August 17, the Session…
· learned that the church’s income for July was $52,212; expenses, $60,771; and net income, minus $8,599; and for the time period January through July 25, 2025, income was $520,252.50; expenses, $495,287.02; and net income, $24,965.48
· learned about the progress of the Policy Task Team’s work on the Policy Condemning Sexual Misconduct and the Child and Youth Protection Policy;
· learned that the theme for the stewardship campaign will be “A Chorus of Giving”;
· approved moving the excess of the 2024 general fund ($6,161) to the Facilities Improvement Restricted Fund to offset closing costs and corresponding interest on the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program (PILP) loan;
· approved having the 11:00 a.m. worship service on October 12 at Town Creek Park;
· approved a request to have the wedding of Christy Cochran and Brian Green in our sanctuary on February 7, 2026;
· approved agreements with five students to live in the student apartments during 2025-2026: Nwachukwu Agwu Ani, Tom Duin, Will Duin, Cameron Allen, and Anna Benson; and
· approved the baptism of Colby Klesius, son of Patrick Klesius, during the 9:00 a.m. service on September 14.
