Save the date for a special time of worship and fellowship at Town Creek Park on Sunday, October 12 at 11 am as the church continues to celebrate 175 years of ministry in the community. For those who can not make it there will be a 9 am worship service in the FPC Chapel. In the event of rain we will move worship and fellowship to the church.
Town Creek Service Ushers Needed- Let’s make this special service run smoothly! Three different duties need your help- volunteer to direct parking volunteer to usher for the service or volunteer to be stationed at the church directing people to head over to Town Creek Park. If you are willing to help, please email Quincy at quincyhochard@gmail.com

Looking forward to the Town Creek Worship and Fellowship event this Sunday: If you are able please park in the upper gravel lot of Town Creek (entrance is on Gay Street). Parking is limited on the lower lot near the pavilion and we want to leave this available for those who need closer parking or as a drop off area. The city asked that we do not park on any grass areas.

| | With deep gratitude, we celebrate the generosity of our members and friends who contributed to First Presbyterian’s 175th Anniversary outreach invitation. Together, we raised $10,480 in honor of this milestone, which—added to our church’s initial $2,000 gift and nearly $2,000 raised by our youth last year—means we have given more than $14,000 to the Capital Campaign for the Community Market of East Alabama. This new facility will be a true blessing in our community, helping to meet the needs of those facing food insecurity while ensuring that every neighbor is treated with dignity and respect. | | |
Thank you from our Parish Nurse
