We are heading into the weekend , which is ostensibly going to stay in the 70's and 80 's , but while we wait to let experience confirm this I’d recommend checking out the items below.

Brooklyn CB6 committee members and other interested parties remember the Permits & Licenses Committee meets on Monday, August 26^th.
Tonight, at the Human Compass Garden is a community potluck and BBQ.
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 24^th is opening day for “Time Seed” at The Thomas Greene Playground.
Tomorrow there will be a Health Empowerment Fair sponsored by Assistant Speaker Ortiz, Councilmember Menchaca, and Senator Myrie.
Dine in Park Slope is still going on at over 50 locations!
School rezoning meeting this coming Tuesday, August 27 ^th at the Red Hook Library and the following night, Wednesday, August 28^th, the 76 ^th precinct will host a “Build The Block ” meeting at Carroll Park.
