From a WEDI virtual spotlight earlier this summer, WEDI Privacy & Security Work Group Co-Chairs Lesley Berkeyheiser (DirectTrust) and Thanh-Thien Nguyen (Kaiser Permanente) moderate a conversation with Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council Executive Director Greg Garcia and HSCC Cybersecurity Working Group Chair and Vice Chair Chris Tyberg (Abbott) and Dr. Samantha Jacques (McLaren). The Following Webinars are Free to the Industry

WEDI's new Patient Experience Workgroup will focus primarily on bringing the patient perspective and patient experience into health care business processes and workflow and including the patient viewpoint across WEDI workgroups and initiatives. Initial topics for the workgroup include: (i) level setting on current patient advocacy initiatives within health IT data standards; (ii) providing insight into patient use of health technology; and (iii) educating patients on using health APIs and how best to ensure the confidentiality of their health information. Join co-chairs Anna Hyde (Arthritis Foundation) and Emma Andelson (American Medical Association) on the Second Monday of each month at 1pm ET beginning September 8th!
