Michael welcomed Brent Dover, CEO of Carta Healthcare, a technology company that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and automation to streamline clinical data management and abstraction. Brent outlined how AI can support clinicians and solve data-driven issues. The two also discussed security and ethical considerations with AI, and how AI-powered data management can influence Value-based Care.

Monday 11AM:

The Remittance Advice & Payment SWG will continue work on our 8020 Fact Sheets, focusing on Coordination of Benefits and Reversal and Correction.

Tuesday 3PM:

We will continue our conversation on how WEDI and other standard development organizations are working towards the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services goal to convert Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payments from FFS to VBC. Patient attribution methods used to assign physician accountability for patients to assess quality and cost performance, as well as assist with population health management efforts to deliver, track, and improve care will be this month's topic.

Thursday 11AM:

The Subworkgroup will continue work on its X12 837 fact sheets.
