In 2012, I decided to take a quick five day solo trip from Boston through Vermont and then up to Montreal and Quebec. This was the first time I traveled across the Northern border on my own. This trek seemed far enough from home to consider it a vacation, but not too far where I could get into a lot of trouble. This was a really great road trip to explore the wonderful city of Montreal and also check out the Quebec city center and some surrounding points of interest. I have been lucky to visit Canada many times as an adult and this trip was the first where I was able to really appreciate the scene.
