Using water or glass as an element in a photograph is usually a surefire way to create an interesting frame. It is the choices that surround this decision that can really shape an image. The inner debate of where to put the horizon, subject and edges all come in to play when working with such a visual gift of a reflection. I love both the possibility for a distortion of the subject or also a near perfect representation in a still body of water that these situations present.

I also want to say thank you for your support of the newsletter as this edition of The Weekly is #150. I started this at the beginning of the pandemic and I truly enjoy sharing images with everyone each week. Also, if you are interested in seeing more images, most of the images are clickable to the main Andy Levine Art website.
