This week's theme is "Occasional Intricacy" - I would say that most of the time when I am out with my camera and then in the editing process, I am looking for a clean frame. Generally my images are not full of visual complexity or distractions. I find that effective photography is helped by a central focus at first view. Sometimes though, I am really drawn to a scene that is filled with intricacy. I think my love for artists like M.C. Escher and growing up with Where's Waldo books created a strong interest in complex scenes where your eyes dart all over the place.
