The reason this image, taken at the World War Memorial in Indianapolis, stands out to me as a reminder that you never know where you might find a strong composition. I was in this city for a work trip in 2016 and I had a bit of time after breakfast to walk around what is essentially a basic Midwestern urban area. As I circled this large monument I noticed a beautiful set of gold doors with two words, "Light" and "Truth" that struck a deep chord within. After trying a few different angles, this one of the grey stairs and gold doors hit the mark in my mind.
