Thank you checking out this edition as I continue to start to share some images from the Extended Galleries on Andy Levine Art. I am immensely proud of the images that fill up the 6 main galleries (Parks, Structure, Water, Land, City, Abstract), but the Extended section allows me to share other images I feel are strong captures in my portfolio.
Although I consider myself a very dedicated photographer of landscape and architecture, I am a very casual image maker of the wonderful life forms we share this home with. When I was younger, zoos were a favorite spot to bring my camera. As I got older, I became very disillusioned of collecting shots in these enclosed areas. If I capture images today of animals I try to generate them in a more natural environment such as a nature preserve or if I am lucky to see them in an urban setting or a national park.
