This week starts at the beginning. As I have been revisiting trips these past few weeks, a 2009 trip to the Southwest was really my 1st real photography adventure. For the first eight years of taking photos I used cheaper point and shoot cameras. In 2009, I made the plunge into DSLR equipment and the world opened accordingly. My best friend at the time lived in Las Vegas and after visiting him for a few days I rented a car and traveled solo for the next week. I had never seen this part of the country, let alone these amazing national parks. I was hooked and have since returned to this region twice more, this time with my better half. I love the colors and epic scenes that live around every bend in the Nevada, Utah and Arizona area.
